Emergency Animal Rescue (EAR) was founded in 1993. After the deadly flooding in the Tijuana River Valley, several members of a local rescue agency saw a need for a fulltime, highly trained animal rescue service in the San Diego County area. ARRF (Animal Rescue Resource Foundation) is an organization with years of combined experience in rescue, spay/neuter and support of people that are helping animals get a better deal. ARRF does not have a physical shelter. We are a collection of foster homes all over San Diego County working together to provide temporary homes to animals in need.
